Any disease caused by bacteria, fungi, viruses, parasites and protozoans and can be spread from one individual to the other fall under the category of infectious diseases. Sometimes some helpful microorganisms may become opportunistic pathogens and cause disease. These diseases can be diagnosed by microscopy, microbial culture and biochemical test or by met genomic sequencing using bioinformatics tools.
All the submitted manuscripts/abstracts undergo peer review by the subject matter experts under the supervision of the Editor-in-Chief or assigned Editorial committee member of the respective journals and QC department. Approval of at least two independent reviewers and the editor is mandatory for the acceptance of the manuscript/abstract for publication
